Fits any Denso map sensor equipped model. Tricks the ECU into believing there is less manifold pressure or boost than there really is by approximately 15%, allowing some ECU limits to be exceeded, including boost limit on SST equipped EVO X’s. Allows MAP sensor to see pressure changes above its normal range, allowing for control without actually installing a higher bar MAP sensor, or recalibrating the MAP sensor.
WARNING: The installation of this part WILL REQUIRE A RETUNE TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE. This is due to the reduction of calculated load, without a corresponding reduction in actual load. The net effect without a retune will be increased timing, and reduced fuel.
